G.O.T. Balloons July 19, 2004
Tony Roma’s, Grapevine, TX

This was a very special meeting to Mrs. Stretch and I. On July 19, 1985 our second son, Keenan Tyler Clendennen, was born. He was a very giving child who loved everyone and dreamed of being a cowboy someday. In Febuary of 1993 he was diagnosed with terminal cancer and went home to be with Jesus on April 19, 1993. (This is why we cancelled the meeting that would have been held on April 19 this year.) He would have been 19 today, so instead of canceling this month’s meeting, we decided to honor him by having a Texas/Western themed meeting. Mimi’s has a lot of great food on their menu, but they don’t have barbeque so we decided to have the meeting at Tony Roma’s instead. This helped to make this day more special and memorable for us and we really appreciate everyone who came out and made this such a special evening.

This was our largest gathering so far, and definitely our most crowded. We apologize for any inconvenience that resulted from our lack of room. We’ll make sure it doesn’t happen again. We had 55 in attendance and still managed to have a great time in spite of it all. Thank you.
